Types of hinged doors for the naval sector
“Embarkation” door with reinforced profile
Application: Doors used in public areas that must withstand high pedestrian traffic.
Single- or double-leaf doors with frame in reinforced aluminum profile, with welded corners followed by grinding and painting, and internal reinforcement brackets. External hinges with 3 leaves per sash, stainless steel AISI 316 lock with stainless steel handle. Overhead door closer on one or both sashes, with the option to add a closing sequencer. For double-leaf doors, the secondary sash is secured with an aluminum bolt, painted or silver anodized. Stainless steel sheet thresholds ensure water tightness.
“Balcony” door
Application: Doors opening onto external balconies.
Single-leaf door with frame in aluminum profile. External hinges with 3 leaves, stainless steel AISI 316 lock with stainless steel handle. Mechanical sliding or magnetic overhead door closer. Option to install a “child lock” bolt and magnetic contacts for accidental opening detection.
Automatic hinged door
Application: Doors with automatic hinged operation, used for example in vestibules or access to public areas such as restaurants.
Single- or double-leaf door with frame in aluminum profile. External hinges with 3 leaves, stainless steel AISI 316 lock with stainless steel handle. Automatic opening mechanism with high protection rating to ensure operation even outdoors. Includes dual-technology detection and safety sensors. Custom-built aluminum box with movable cover for internal inspection and maintenance. Operation via sensor or push button.
